I would believe that when I see it.
Yesterday in the Bay Area, it was pretty windy as the low pressure system from
the Gulf of Alaska was entering the area. ABC's venerable Lloyd Lindsey-Young
is telling the Bay Area to expect rain in the North Bay by Thursday afternoon
(Napa, Sonoma and Solano Counties) with a Snow advisory for elevations as low
as 3500 feet, which also means that Mount Diablo in Contra Costa County and
Mount Hamilton in Santa Clara County may get snow on them.
Usually when the Bay Area and the Sierra Nevadas get rain and snow, it usually
means that Montana and North Dakota get that storm track, not Colorado. When
the storm track hits Colorado, it's because the Low pressure cell is over the
northern plains and that the storm track made landfall in either Washington
state or British Columbia.
