Is there any way of repairing my rifle scope?
My rifle is shooting too high and I already have the scope on the lowest setting. Please help. Is there any way of fixing thye ploblem on my own?
first make sure the scope mounts are matched as a set
then check to see that they are mounted properly to the base
also check that the scope base is properly mounted and is the correct type for your gun

cut the aluminum to fit exactly to the size of the rings and shim the bottom half of the ring where the scope sits in it
while you have the scope off check carefully to assure that the scope tube is not bent
this happens when people dont set the scope in the rings and over tighten the screws
