I have 3 wires comming off of my MTX subs there is standard red and black wires but there is 2 wires connected together, they are yellow and on the it says " Rockford Fosgate RP2010 1.3² mm. Super Twist 16 AWG 65 Strand High Definition OFC speaker cable." I was wondering what it does and where you plug the two wires into. If you have any clue i would appriciate that very much thank you!
well if you have a dual voice coil sub then those are for the second voice coil. you need to wire those into 4 ohm or 2 ohm. do not connect those with the wires going to the amp like the retard above me just said. if you want 4ohm take the yellow wires and run positive to negative on one side. then take your red and black wires and run those to the amp. if you want 2 ohm then take the yellow wires and run positive to positive on and negative to negative and then wire them in your box.
